Paul Thirkell’s solo exhibition is at White Cottage Gallery, Retford Park in Bowral, from Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, until Sunday 27 September. His drawings, paintings and limited-edition prints bring together traditional and newer printmaking approaches to imagine places shaped by his time overseas and in the Southern Highlands. It suits visitors interested in illustration, colour and how printed images tell stories. Exhibition entry is free, and the artworks are for sale. Parking is available at Retford Park, 1325 Old South Road; garden visits and house tours have separate admission charges.
