A guided garden tour and morning tea takes place at Retford Park in Bowral on Thursday 1 and 15 October, from 8:30am to 10:30am. Head Gardener Rebecca Bloomer leads visitors through the historic grounds, pointing out seasonal changes, significant trees and the work involved in caring for the gardens. It suits people interested in gardening and the Southern Highlands’ historic places. The visit finishes with morning tea on the front verandah. Tickets cost $55 for adults and $45 for concession holders; booking fees apply. Book ahead for either date. Parking is available at Retford Park, 1325 Old South Road.
