Meet local beekeepers, explore real hive frames, taste honey and try hands-on bee activities at Science Space.
Spend part of the school holidays exploring the world of bees with local Illawarra beekeepers from Bee Inspired. See real bee frames, taste different honeys, learn about life inside a hive and look for the queen. There’s also beekeeper gear to try, bees to examine under a microscope and a chance to become a pollinator. The pop-up runs from 10am to 2pm on Friday 2 and Friday 9 October at Science Space in Wollongong. Drop in during the session; no booking is needed. Science Space’s general admission price applies.
