About Bulgo Beach Ocean Pool
Bulgo Pool is a small rock pool at the southern end of Bulgo Beach, in the shack community near Otford inside Royal National Park. It was blasted out of the rock platform in the 1930s for local children to swim in and to hold caught fish, and an ocean-end wall was added in the 1980s. There are no facilities at the pool; the nearest are in Otford, up the cliff path. Getting there means a cliff walk of about 25 minutes down and about 30 minutes back up.
