Children aged 5 to 12 can make a windsock and a grasshead creature at Nowra Library, Nowra, on Friday 2 October from 2pm to 3pm. Part of the school holiday programme, this hands-on session gives kids two creations to take home for the garden. It is free, but bookings are essential and limited to three tickets per family. The activity is for individual families rather than groups. Nowra Library is at 10 Berry Street, and Shoalhaven Libraries asks anyone who can no longer attend to cancel their booking.
