A free petting zoo for kids is at The Scarborough Hotel in Scarborough on Monday 5 October, from 12pm to 2pm. Children can meet and interact with a mix of farm animals, making it a hands-on school holidays outing for families. There’s no charge to take part, and registration is requested. The petting zoo is the hotel’s Monday animal encounter, following its reptile activity the previous week. It runs for two hours over lunchtime, with the focus on time spent with the animals.
