A free Oktoberfest celebration starts at 11:30am on Sunday 11 October at Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club in Barrack Heights. Lagoon St will have Oktoberfest food, pretzels and 4 Pines Festbier, with live entertainment from the Oompah Loompah Band. Circus Monoxide will give roaming performances, Faces by Wen Dee will offer face painting, and there’s a best-dressed patron competition. It’s a family-friendly day for people who’d like food, music and activities together. The club is on Jason Avenue, and tickets can be booked online.
