Create a hero doll at Wollongong Art Gallery in Wollongong on Wednesday 7 October, from 10am to 12pm. Inspired by Raquel Caballero’s Once Upon a Doll exhibition, this free workshop invites children and adults to turn recycled materials into a real or imaginary hero. You can bring materials of your own, and finished dolls may be displayed in the exhibition. Bookings are essential. Children must have a parent or guardian with them throughout the workshop, whether or not the adult takes part. The workshop is held in the gallery’s Education Centre.
