Aunty Julie Freeman will share stories and join a discussion at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra on Saturday 26 September, from 11am to 12pm. The talk suits people interested in South Coast Aboriginal art, culture and history. A Gorawarl Jerrawongarla artist and storyteller, Aunty Julie has work in the gallery’s Bun dja exhibition, including her 1997 installation Forget me Not. She has also made new work with her daughter Markeeta Freeman. The gallery is at 12 Berry Street, and registration is through Eventbrite.
