Southside Tattoo

Southside Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio at 155 Tongarra Rd, Albion Park, in the Shellharbour area of the Illawarra. It has been tattooing in Albion Park since 2011 and in 2026 moved a few doors along Tongarra Rd, from number 122 to number 155, into a rebuilt room with proper booths.

The artists work across black and grey, colour and traditional, fine line, script and lettering and cover-ups, from a first small piece through to sleeves, back pieces and full legs built over a series of sittings. Every design is drawn up and approved by you, and the stencil placement is checked in a mirror before the machine goes on. Some of the crew are Adam Paterson (artist and owner), Glenn Phipps, Skye Gallagher and Brad, and there are several artists to choose from.

The studio holds NSW operator licence 011131, uses single-use needles, and is registered with Shellharbour City Council as a skin penetration business. Clients come from Albion Park, Shellharbour, Oak Flats, Shell Cove, Warilla, Dapto, Kiama, Wollongong and nearby.

Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Saturday. Pricing depends on size, placement and detail, and your artist will quote once they know the idea.
