Five Island Charters

Five Island Charters is a fishing charter business departing from Wollongong Harbour, offering reef, sports, game and deep-drop fishing trips off the Illawarra coast aboard Seafox, a 40ft flybridge cruiser. Owner and skipper Trent runs the trips with his crew.

Reef charters fish reefs from Stanwell Tops to Shellharbour for snapper, morwong, wrasse, eastern pigfish, pearl perch, flathead and leatherjacket. Game fishing charters target black, striped and blue marlin, mahi-mahi, mako shark, yellowfin tuna, wahoo and kingfish from December to April, and yellowfin, bluefin and albacore tuna and mako shark from June to October. Overnight game charters, deep dropping and bareboat hire (boat and skipper, for events, island tours, birthdays and coastal cruises) are also available.

Seafox is powered by twin 380hp Cummins diesel engines and has a galley, lounges, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, live bait tanks, outriggers and Shimano gear. It sleeps up to 6 people plus crew. Rods, reels, tackle and bait are supplied on fishing charters, and no NSW fishing licence is required on the charters.
