About Dura Construction Group
DURA Construction Group is a building company based in Bellambi in the northern suburbs of Wollongong, working in remedial building, commercial fit-outs and new residential construction across the Illawarra. The team is made up of licensed builders and building practitioners, and one team runs each job from the first site visit to handover.
Remedial work covers concrete and spalling repair, waterproofing, façade and brickwork, fire safety and structural repair, including Class 2 multi-storey residential and strata buildings. Waterproofing and carpentry are in-house teams, and remedial work is run by a dedicated remedial manager. DURA also takes on heritage restoration, including façade restorations and structural repairs to older buildings.
Commercial work is fit-out and refurbishment for office, retail, hospitality, medical, education and fitness tenancies, with programmes built around trading hours. Residential work is new build and development: luxury homes, townhouses, duplexes, terraces and multi-residential. DURA does not take on residential renovations or extensions. Landowners and developers can also partner with DURA on joint ventures.
